ROI calculator

What the first year looks like for you.

Put in what you pay today and what it costs to run. The estimate is license against the flat rate, the implementation fee you do not pay, and the share of the running cost the self-completing close and the agents hand back. Nothing is stored; the math runs in your browser.

First-year estimate
$130,750
License, today
$126,000 / yr
License, flat rate
$54,000 / yr
License saved
$72,000
Implementation fee avoided
$40,000
Running cost, today
$30,000 / yr
Running cost handed back
$18,750

How this is computed: license is payees × rate × 12 against $30 a payee a month. Running cost is your figure scaled to your payees; buyers report about one admin FTE or a consulting retainer per 1,000 payees. The ten of sixteen close tasks that complete on evidence, and the agents, are assumed to hand back that share. Bring your numbers to the demo.

How the estimate works

License saving is your current per-payee rate minus $30, times payees, times twelve. We bill only payees who were paid in the month, so if a share of your roster is inactive in a typical month the real saving is larger than shown.

Implementation avoided is the fee you were quoted. We do not charge one.

Running cost is what buyers of the legacy platforms report: about one administrator or a consulting retainer per 1,000 payees, roughly $200,000 a year, on top of the license. We assume ten of the sixteen tasks on a monthly close complete on evidence rather than by hand, which is the split on the demo book's template, and that the agents absorb the questions, so that share of the running cost comes back. Edit the figure to match what you actually spend.

The calculator does not count the things that are harder to price: a forecast finance believes, an audit pack generated from the close, or a rep inbox that empties itself. See pricing for what is included and the comparisons for where the money goes today.
